In back-to-back Truth Social posts yesterday afternoon, Trump showcased the dichotomy of his immigration plan.

In the first post, Trump touted that “FOR FIVE MILLION $DOLLARS, THE TRUMP CARD IS COMING! More than fifteen thousand have signed up and joined the Waiting List since we opened the site last night!”

While in the second post he raged that “Biden let 21 Million Unvetted, Illegal Aliens flood into the Country from some of the most dangerous and dysfunctional Nations on Earth — Many of them Rapists, Murderers, and Terrorists. This tsunami of Illegals has destroyed Americans’ Public Schools, Hospitals, Parks, Community Resources, and Living Conditions. They have stolen American Jobs, consumed BILLIONS OF DOLLARS in Free Welfare, and turned once idyllic Communities, like Springfield, Ohio, into Third World Nightmares. …. Those who are here illegally should either self deport using the CBP Home App or, ICE will find you and remove you. Saving America is not negotiable!”

So, let’s get this straight.

Trump’s plan: if you’ve got cash, you’re Golden.

A cold, hard $5,000,000 and you’ll be welcomed with open arms and given your Golden Trump Visa.

If you are poor and are fleeing dangerous and impoverished countries while trying to make a better life for yourself and your family – you’re part of a tsunami of the unfavorable class who aren’t welcome in Trump’s USA.

It’s clear that Trump isn’t against immigration.

He just wants a specific type of immigrant. One who is rich, white, and supports the Right.

While at the same time, he despises the working-class immigrants – those who are likely of minority status.

Ultimately, this battle is not about individual immigration.

Rather, it is about Trump’s reimagined Glory Days of America, where his ‘white’ base is not at risk of being outnumbered by the foreign ‘other’.
